About Us

Diamond State Roller Derby, is a “for skaters, by skaters” organization, where all members participate to keep our league running. The league was started in March 2006, formerly under the name of the Wilmington City Ruff Rollers and later Diamond State Roller Girls.

We are the first co-ed, skater-owned and operated, Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) league in Delaware.

Our goal is to provide a positive yet competitive environment in which non-traditional athletes can participate in a sport that embodies an active lifestyle and community. Although we are a tightly-knit bunch, we are always looking for fresh, new talent!

We are Real, We are Strong, We are Athletic and We are Revolutionary. Come join the Roller Derby Revolution!
